Questions about the Convention?
We have the answers.
FMCA INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION AND RV EXPO FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. What is a FMCA International Convention and RV Expo?
It’s four days of everything RVing! Imagine one place where you can meet new friends, renew acquaintances, look through new RVs, shop for items to make your traveling experience more enjoyable, learn more about your RV and the travel lifestyle, and be entertained.
2. Why should I attend?
FMCA conventions draw folks for a variety of reasons.
Some come for the fellowship. Friends who travel together or who plan opportunities to meet down the road find FMCA International Conventions a great place to gather. FMCA members welcome the opportunity to include non-member guests to experience the fun of being part of the FMCA family.
Others are interested in finding that next RV to purchase. Many major manufacturers and dealers bring their best and newest products to display. It's the best place to compare brands and shop for that next home on wheels.
Conventions also provide attendees with an opportunity to have service performed on their RV. Knowledgeable technicians discuss problems with owners at the conveniently located FMCA Service Center or at their display. Repairs are arranged on-site or at an off-site repair facility.
Supplier and component exhibits offer one-stop shopping. Everything a RV owner needs and much more can be found in the exhibit buildings.
Learning is a major component of any convention, and FMCA’s seminar program is second to none. Featuring technical seminars, educational seminars, make-and-take craft classes, and fun, fitness, and health sessions. If you’re serious about discovering more about the RV lifestyle, this is the place to be.
FMCA showcases entertainment appropriate for all ages, both throughout the day and in the evening.
Getting to or leaving the convention site provides opportunities to explore parts of the country you may not otherwise see.
FMCA conventions are unique. There’s nowhere else that you can find so much “RVing” going on in one place. Come experience it for yourself!

Emergency Procedures
Call 911
When you call the emergency number, 911, tell the dispatcher your location. If you do not have immediate access to a telephone, please send someone to the Information Center. He or she may need to meet the emergency vehicle and lead it to the site of the emergency.
To aid emergency personnel in locating the site of an emergency in a parking area, persons needing help should turn on their RV's emergency flashers and sound their horns.
Fire Emergency
In the event of an RV fire emergency, please evacuate by foot. Do not attempt to move your RV, because this may present a dangerous situation for fire equipment attempting to enter the area, as well as for others attempting to evacuate on foot.
Emergency Numbers
Give the following telephone numbers to friends or relatives who may need to contact you during the “Lucky 13” convention so you can be found in the event of an emergency. All attendees should display their QR code parking card in their windshield so we can scan the card and be able to find them in the event of an emergency.

Covid-19 Waiver
If you have not already completed the Covid-19 Waiver, please complete the form below.
Weather Alerts

A loud audible siren will alert you to the possibility of severe weather in the Perry area. The strongest shelters found at the Georgia National Fairgrounds & Agricenter are the restroom facilities located throughout the grounds and in the buildings. The strongest building is the Reaves Arena, away from the glass doors. If severe weather occurs after activities end for the day, every effort will be made to unlock all the facilities. The city of Perry is in Houston County, and a map showing adjoining counties appears to the right. In the unlikely event of severe weather, local law enforcement agencies also will be dispatched to make announcements throughout the parking areas. FMCA will make announcements on the fairgrounds’ public address system; send out text messages to attendees signed up for FMCA’s text-messaging service; and issue push notifications for those using the FMCA event app.
Please note that weather can affect the reception of digital TV stations. If TV reception fails, please listen to a weather alert radio or, at a minimum, a radio with local AM or FM stations. Digital TV signals are more susceptible to interference than analog signals. The Georgia National Fairgrounds & Agricenter recommends that family members tune in to radio station WDEN, 99.1 FM; television station 13WMAZ; or through the internet: www.macon.com for any weather-related emergency information. A complete listing of “Television and Radio stations” is located in the “Grounds Services” section.

Imagine one place where you can meet new friends, renew acquaintances, look through new RVs, shop for items to make your traveling experience more enjoyable, learn more about your RV and the travel lifestyle, and be entertained.
-
Why should I attend?
Learning is a major component of any convention, and FMCA's seminar program is second to none. Featuring technical seminars, educational seminars, make-and-take craft classes, and fun, fitness, and health sessions. If you're serious about discovering more about the RV lifestyle, this is the place to be.
FMCA showcases entertainment appropriate for all ages, both throughout the day and in the evening.
Getting to or leaving the convention site provides opportunities to explore parts of the country you may not otherwise see.
FMCA conventions are unique. There's nowhere else that you can find so much "RVing" going on in one place. Come experience it for yourself!
RV Basics is a two-and-a-half-day workshop to help owners get acquainted (or reacquainted) with an RV's operation and systems. Taught by industry experts, this class is designed to build confidence so you can relax and enjoy your RV without worry. Learn about the newest technology and equipment available, and receive real-life solutions for a variety of RV troubles. Check back for more details about the program as they become available.
