Quilts were among the craft topics during the chapter\'s rally in September 2011 in Oklahoma.

Owners of all brands of motorhomes are invited to join this chapter.

Country Coach Friends Incorporated (CCFI) is an international chapter of FMCA open to all FMCA members, regardless of the type of motorhomes they own. The group was chartered in June 2011 and already has nearly 130 member families. "The club has been growing by leaps and bounds, even faster than I had imagined," said chapter president Jerry O Connor.

Jerry has ambitious goals for membership growth, and once you learn about the group's great rallies, it's easy to believe they may be realized.

CCFI rallies last four or five nights and are basically all-inclusive. Jerry said the chapter receives support from vendors who have ties with Country Coach motorhomes, and various companies provide seminars at some of the rallies.

In addition, at a typical rally, the ladies gather for hands-on crafts sessions, such as beading or quilting. Everyone enjoys happy hours and delightful catered meals. And, Jerry said, "Normally we get involved with a local charity and hold raffles and auction items." At one rally last year, the chapter collected $8,000 for local food banks — with only 65 coaches in attendance, he noted proudly.

Chapter members live throughout North America and own several different manufacturer's brands, but that does not mean the group has forgotten its roots. Each year CCFI plans to rally in Oregon near the former headquarters of Country Coach Inc. Charter chapter members include Bob Lee, Country Coach Inc. founder, and his brother, Ron Lee, president of Country Coach Corporation.

“CCFI is founded on friendship,” Jerry said. “We want to ensure CCFI members always enjoy a ‘class act’ RV club experience.”

The chapter has a Web site — www.countrycoachfriendsincorporated.com — and a newsletter, and functions as a link between Country Coach owners and service and parts providers.
