Jerry OConnor, president of Country Coach Friends International, with Carmelita Cedillo (left) and Gracie Martinez of the Children's Miracle Network. Country Coach Friends Incorporated (CCFI), a Family Motor Coach Association chapter, held its Spring Rally at Buckhorn Lake Resort in Kerrville, Texas, May 14 to 19, 2013.

Wherever Country Coach Friends Incorporated rallies, a local charity is selected to benefit from the rally’s fund-raising efforts.

During the rally in Kerrville, the chapter held a special auction to benefit children served by the Children's Hospital of San Antonio. The hospital is in the local Children's Miracle Network and serves families in the southern and central portions of the state. The Children's Miracle Network saw 150,000 children last year, 250 of whom were from Kerrville.

The Country Coach Friends auction raised more than $12,000.

At the Kerrville rally, in addition to the auction, attendees enjoyed six fun-filled days organized by rally hosts David Twilley and his wife, Jean; and chapter president Jerry O'Connor and his wife, Sherry. Attendees, who hailed from nine states, reconnected with old friends and made new ones, all the while enjoying Texas Hill Country, great music and great food.

Country Coach Friends is open to owners of all brands of motorhomes. For more information about CCFI, visit
