FMCA membes Fran and R.J. BaumR.J. and Fran Baum
Full-timers
Cincinnati, Ohio

FMCA membership number:  F54118

We joined FMCA in:  1983

Chapter memberships: 3 T’s; 100%ers; Full Timers; Elk International; MIME, International; Roamin’ Nobles; Achievers International

Current motorhome:  a 1989 Beaver Marquis, our sixth motorhome

We decided to buy a motorhome because:
We love to travel.

Current or former occupation:  Fran – secretary and bookkeeper; R.J. – broker/dealer, truck driver

Children, grandchildren:  one son, two grandsons

The best thing about motorhoming is:
Seeing North America and seeing and visiting friends and relatives.

When we’re not motorhoming, we’re:
We motorhome all the time.

Our all-time favorite motorhome trip was:
No special one. We’ve been in 48 states and Mexico and Canada.

Our favorite motorhoming destination is:
Wherever we head!

One of our fondest motorhoming memories is:
All of them.

Our “dream” motorhome trip would be:
If we’ve dreamed of it, we’ve done it.

The best thing about our motorhome is:
It has a big engine.

Something about motorhoming that we know now but didn’t know when we started is:
How much we were going to enjoy it! We have lived in our motor coach for 15 years. We don’t plan to quit until one of us can’t travel.

If we could change one thing about our motorhome, it would be:
No change at this time.

The best alteration/addition we’ve made to our motorhome is:
We haven’t made any; we bought the Beaver Marquis in 1992 and love it.

Our favorite thing(s) about FMCA is:
The chapters we belong to.

A motorhoming tip we’d like to share with other motorhomers is:
Enjoy it to the fullest.

Our hobbies/interests are:
Traveling and seeing the country.

Favorite book:  Books by Danielle Steel

When motorhomers visit our state or hometown, they should be sure to see:
Ohio is where we started full-timing from. There are lots of interesting sites there. Go to the chamber of commerce in the city you’re visiting. In Cincinnati, be sure to visit FMCA national headquarters.

Our advice to new motorhomers is:
Find out all you can before taking off! That is important!

Behind our motorhome, we tow:
A 2001 Honda Odyssey using a tow bar.
