We decided to buy a motorhome
because…
We had a pop-up that we spent 10 days in on vacation with a
6-month-old baby. It rained every day, with no restroom or running
water. We purchased a motorhome when we got home. I wanted something
with a bathroom running hot water and the capability to keep me dry
when it was wet outside!
Current occupation: Electrical
contractors
The best thing about motorhoming
is…
Having your own bed, sitting outside under the awning, relaxing on
vacation
When I’m not motorhoming, I’m…
Working
My all-time favorite motorhome
trip was…
Thanksgiving on the mountain in Asheville, N.C., enjoying the view
with our Thanksgiving turkey.
My favorite destination is…
The United States and all its
beauty
A favorite motorhoming memory…
They have all been such wonderful experiences, I don’t think I could
pick just one. We enjoy our motorhome all the time.
My worst motorhoming experience
was…
Driving on Highway 41 when a gust of wind tore the awning off of the
motorhome.
The best thing about our motorhome
is…
The Suite Bedroom/One-Touch awning
Something about motorhoming that I
know now but that I didn’t know when I started is…
Ruth: The difference between the
black and gray dump valves
John: That they’re only built for two people
If we could change one thing about
our motorhome, it would be…
Get a Girard awning.
The best alteration/addition we’ve
made to our motorhome is…
An outside bay entertainment center
with fridge.
Our favorite thing about
motorhoming is…
The rallies
Our hobbies include…
Tae kwon do, model railroads,
reading
Favorite movie:
Casablanca
Favorite book:
Clive Cussler and Dean Koontz books
Favorite song:
“Amarillo” by George Strait
When motorhomers visit my state or
hometown, they should be sure to see…
The next state
My advice to new motorhomers is…
Buy a quality high-line unit to
start with rather than trading up several times.
