FMCA announces dates for international conventions

CINCINNATI, Ohio — Family Motor Coach Association is pleased to announce the dates for FMCA international conventions to be held in 2007 and 2008.
 

FMCA’s 78th International Convention: Aug. 13-16, 2007, Redmond, Ore.

FMCA’s 79th International Convention: Feb. 25-28, 2008 Pomona, Ca.

FMCA’s 80th International Convention: July 14-17, 2008, St. Paul, Minn.

FMCA’s 78th International Convention will make a return visit to the Deschutes County Fair and Expo Center in Redmond, Oregon. The Deschutes County Fair and Expo Center has improved its facility by adding Wi-fi capability and an additional structure that may be used for events.

FMCA’s 79th International Convention will be held at the Fairplex in Pomona, California. The dates for this event have been moved to late February due to the early dates for Easter. FMCA’s first convention at Fairplex, in 1993, was held at the end of February with over 3000 families present.

FMCA’s 80th International Convention will take place on the grounds of the Minnesota State Fair. The last FMCA international convention held at this facility was in 1980. Renovations to many of Minnesota State Fairground’s facilities have taken place within the past few years, providing some outstanding exhibit and seminar space. Como Park — home to the last free zoo in the United States, a conservatory gardens, Japanese Gardens, Cafesjian’s Carousel, waterfalls, amusement rides, a picnic area, and even an 18-hole golf course — is located across the street from the fairgrounds.
