Do you own a motorhome made by Monaco or any of its affiliated brands? If Monaco made it and it has an engine, we encourage you to join us.
The Monaco International chapter held its first rally and organizational meeting in Cherry Valley, Illinois, in July 1984 and was chartered with 53 member families. Today the chapter has grown to include more than 2,500 member families from the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Although Monaco International is for owners of Monaco brand motorhomes, it is a chapter of FMCA and is not operated by Monaco RV LLC.
We are a fun-loving and carefree group with strong bonds to our fellow "family" members. We truly enjoy sharing knowledge and friendship because of our common interest in Monaco coaches.
The Monaco International chapter sponsors two pre-rallies each year prior to the FMCA international conventions. Technicians from Alliance Coach and Monaco RV LLC attended our pre-rally prior to the FMCA convention in Redmond, Oregon, in August to answer questions and perform services for chapter members. Other pre-rally activities include crafts, seminars, and our own chapter pet parade. Our rallies include daily breakfast, a cocktail hour before dinner, and entertainment after dinner.
In addition to the two pre-rallies, each year we have another major rally. In even-numbered years, we go to the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, and in odd-numbered years, we visit Branson, Missouri. The balloon rally includes lunches, admission to balloon events, social hours, and more. The Branson rally includes a dinner cruise on the Branson Belle showboat, plus admission to many other shows.
Our pre-rally for FMCA’s 85th International Convention in Perry, Georgia, is slated to have a Mardi Gras theme and will be held in Moultrie, Georgia, March 7-11, 2011. Next year’s Branson Rally will be May 1-8, 2011. Before FMCA’s 86th International Convention next summer in Madison, Wisconsin, we will be at the Manitowoc County Exposition and Ice Center, August 2-6, 2011.
